Do you have a video you would like to stream on an iOS device or another platform that supports the HTTP Live Streaming standard? Now this is very easy to do with HLS Segmenter, which comes with canned settings for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices over both WiFi or 3G. In addition, you can create your own custom settings to fine tune your output to your desires. In addition to the easy-to-use user interface, command-line tools are provided which allow you to script conversions or integrate into conversions into your application or web server to provide live streaming.

Dupe Eliminator 11.0 for iTunes adds some news preferences (settings) for startup:   full-screen or windowed and auto-scan on startup.   The preference setting for ‘Song to Keep as the Original Track’ has been moved from the very bottom to a much more useful place after ‘Playlist to Scan’.

Additionally, a new minimal column view is available for display.    Two toolbar button that user do not really use and that take up valuable screen real estate have been removed: sync and iTunes.     iTunes and sync are very easy to get at as Dupe Eliminator automatically keeps iTunes running and minimized in the background.

The additional services (Dropbox, Flickr, MobileMe and email) can be turned on or off using the in-app settings or the Settings app.

Additionally, when sharing using email, the photos can be zipped and an optional html index added to the zip.

If the html index is added to the zip, when the full file is unzipped the index.html file index can be used to view the contents.
