Dupe Eliminator 6.4 for iTunes release

A new version of the popular Dupe Eliminator for iTunes was released.

The new dupe criteria ‘Song Name/Artist/Album/Track Number’ has been added at the request of several users to allow avoiding dupes for same Song Name on the same album.

iPlayAnywhere 7.1 for iTunes released with new web user interface

A new version of the popular iPlayAnywhere application has been released with a  totally revamped user interface.

 This user interface is much easy to user and provides a unified user interface for web browsers and the iPhone.

ezShare 2.0 for iTunes released

ezShare 2.0 for iTunes has bee released. This new version of ezShare is desined for iTunes use.

You can drag ‘n drop iTunes Music Library files from one PC to another.  If you want to use ezShare to just share a file and not add it to iTunes, you can turn off the option to add to iTunes.



Dupe Eliminator 6.3 for iTunes released

A maintenance release of our popular Dupe Eliminator for iTunes product has been released.

This release includes:

  • New dupe criteria “Song Name/Album”
  • New Preferences settings to set the color for duplicates and dead link entries
  • New ‘Use first N characters of Song Name’ allows for matching dupe criteria to use just the first N characters of the song name.
    e.g. if wanted to match of the first 10 characters of the song name for  each track when matching dupe criteria instead of the full song name.
    Useful for Song Names whose starting portion is very similar e.g. ‘Alan Parsons Project – Tales of Mystery and Imagination’ and ‘Alan Parsons – The Raven’.
  • Reorganized Preferences settings to make them more user friendly.

iPlayAnywhere 6.0 for iTunes released supporting iPhone

A new version of iPlayAnywhere for iTunes has been released that adds mobile support for the iPhone.

Now when launching the iPlayAnywhere player on the iPhone from an iPlayAnywhere invitation the user sees the following mobile web page:

The mobile web page shows playlists in your iTunes Music Library.  When a specific playlist is selected the playlist contents are displayed.  See example below.   Selecting a playlist entry plays the or video on your iPhone using Quicktime.

Dupe Eliminator 6.2 for iTunes released

A maintenance release of our popular Dupe Eliminator for iTunes product has been released.  

This release includes:

  • Added more informative user error messages when run out of disk space backing up deleted tracks.
  • Dupe Eliminator Tray fixes for Vista – fix starting Dupe Eliminator from tray.
